Need support! Work life balance

Really needing some reccommendations for work life balance. Would be very much appreciated.

Currently I am planning a wedding, working full time as a nurse, and doing part time school.

Luckily the larger part of the wedding is already planned. But I find I'm really struggling with work life balance. I'm not making enough time to diet and exercise.

Suggestions are much appreciated...

Really want to meet my weight goals by next year...but I find with school, work, and stress...I'm always turning to carbs!!

THANK YOU!

I completely understand!!! I am also getting married next year, working 2 jobs and my fiance bought a business last year that I'm constantly spending every free second doing stuff for or worrying about that. (Or listening to him b*tch about it 😒). Feel free to add me!! We can work through it together 😁

To lose weight, you just have to eat less. Not only will eating less food take less time, you can eat less of anything. And when it comes to weightloss, exercise is subordinate to eating less.

My only suggestion is to make yourself a priority. Realize how many calories you need to eat to reach your wedding weight goal and stick to that religiously every day. If working out is not on the agenda due to time, then so be it. If you want to make time to work out then do that and sacrifice time elsewhere. Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate but making time for your priorities is important. Keep in mind that you only get ONE wedding. You will always have a job and you can always be in school. Don't slack on those two things, but a wedding only comes once in alifetime.

There was a time when my daughter, a nurse, was planning a wedding and doing part time school. Her exasperation was identified, by her, as the outre' expectations she and her fiance had impetuously chosen for a wedding event of memorable proportions. Demonstrating a decisiveness worthy of her career choice, she cut it all down to a dress and a date in a house. She was able to focus her energy on her schooling, and nursing school is not easy, while keeping her life events in small, manageable, compartments.

plan your week - i have a 2-3hr commute each day; regular workday can be anywhere from 8-10hrs; class 2 evenings a week plus working out - you can make time - but you have to be aware of those time sucks we don't think about

i try to lay out my plan for the week sunday nights with key stuff i know i have, my workout etc and then go from there
