That is very individual, and arbitrary, more of a "fun fact" or anecdote collection, than useful information; the useful information is to know that some of the initial weightloss will be "water weight" and contents of your digestive system.

Some things don't change. All weightloss diets create a calorie deficit for you. You make it work by sticking to it. All weightloss strategies that work, are methods you can and will stick to.

It's the UK version of Weight Watchers, I believe.

^^ yeah it's similar to Weight Watchers, it's international too. We have Weight Watchers over here also.

I think it's really individual. I tried Slimming World last year (kept to extra easy plan) lost around 1lb the first week, and gained 1lb the second and lost 0.5 lb third week. I started to become disheartened. In group everyone's loss varied a lot in the first few weeks.

I've tried it again following extra easy but including 2 SP days and being more restrictive of portion size and avoiding certain foods that I feel make me gain this time. I have lost 9lbs in the first week. My sister however followed Slimming World and was able to have big portions of carbs and things, and instant food that's free and got on really well and won slimmer of the week a lot. I think trial and error, understanding how your body reacts to things and what keeps you feeling satisfied.
