So darn true - unless it's my house, in which case SOMEBODY (not me) has an "in use" knife that they always leave slightly dirty... not me. Wash mine every time. Wash theirs too when they aren't looking.

Thanks for the background. Living in Italy I hadn't heard this story before. Italian rights in the USA is an interesting concept.1 -
