I probably couldn't decide at first, perhaps a meal. BLT looks like he was probably down on his luck, no money for food. But then he got attached to the little rascal because they can be kinda cute in their own little weasly way, and then he decided to keep him for a companion and got caught.
And they were just trying to go for a bike ride in the dark. But someone is an apparent fun hater.
Apparently. Silly law enforcement. BLT and HKT were the best of buds, and now they've been torn apart.
Now poor HKT is back in the wild having to fend for himself.
My hope is that the next BLT that HKT comes across doesn't decide to make him a meal instead of a friend.
