Please explain TDEE to me?

What the heck is TDEE? And how does it work? Thank you!

i use this one. your tdee is what you eat at maintenance, most people take 20% off that number and eat that. you would not then eat back your exercise cals. i only take 10% off b/c i am near my goal and just trying to lose body fat currently.

if you were to go by mfp numbers they give you, then you would eat that number AND you exercise cals back and in the end they should be very similar to each other, no matter which way you go.

TDEE - Total Daily Energy Expenditure (usually includes all, your basic activity AND workouts)
