Outstanding, Never heard of them, just listened to this and Black Liner Run and Out of Control. LOVE this band.
...... and you are right about the vids
Looks like all the songs from the first release She Wants Revenge are on YouTube, gonna listen to them and then find This Is Forever, and Valleyheart
@Cowsfan1 has said the best thing about this thread is finding great new music; this proves him right again
You're very welcome @ArmyVeteranM1A1C & I agree, new finds sometimes make me wonder how I couldn't possibly have known about a particular band a decade ago. I like some of the new finds in these threads, too.
And, this She Wants Revenge vid is with Shirley Manson from Garbage, looking as gorgeously sinister as ever. If you read the band's bio, they've worked with so many of the greats, it's stunning that they aren't more well known. Maybe they all have "real" jobs and/or work behind the scenes, just doing shows on occasion for their own enjoyment?
"These Things"... a bit of dark storyline fettishistic espionage reflected in most of their Joy Division-Cure-Depeche Mode like sound/look.

Do you recall where you first heard the song @Reckoner68 ? I found them months ago as the song was in a movie, but I can't recall which flick. And, I know what you mean about lyrics... they don't usually matter to me, but some songs strike me on occasion, like Ian McCulloch's love of language or Robert Smith's turn of phrase.0 -

My first thought were not Joy Division but Pulp
"Common People"

and, of course:
"Disco 2000"

Currently touring the states, if interested. "Tear you Apart".

I’ve been listening to these guys since 2007 or so. Some of the songs are so damn catchy that i never get tired of them. Other songs of theirs sound like robots singing with buckets over their heads. I’d be interested to see what one of their concerts is like. I got a friend turned on to them a few years back and he’s been to two of their concerts and he said they were awesome, but for me it would depend heavily on what they play 😅1 -
