hi all, i measure my BF% at boots on a scale 3-4 weeks ago, i measure again today about 7-8Ibs lighter, clothes are looser, and also some muscle definition is better. Yet i have put on 1% of BF! really dont get it! i have heard from some that the body fat scales are innacurate but it kinda sounds like an excuse? im at 30% BF so its not like im at a low %!?!? i lift weights 5 days a week and run atleast 4 days! doesnt make sense to me that this can be true at all! i have gotten in to smaller trousers! any help would be good!

Don't pay too much attention to numbers on the scale. Plus or minus a pound or 1%BF on the scale doesn't matter if you're feeling healthier, your clothes are looser and your measurements are changing in the right direction.

yeah i kinda thought the same, just a bit demotivating really. i mean im working out alot and eating my calories, given sometimes i have the odd bit of chocolate etc but 99% of time in my calorie goal hence the weight loss. just ashame not all the numbers show it :S

Did you have to put in your height and weight for that scale? If so, it is most likely telling you your BMI, and not reading your actual body fat. If you want an accurate number on that, you'll either need calipers, or a water test (the one where you float in a tank).
