Q. If I'm slightly hung over should I skip the gym or am I O.K to still go ?

What does slightly hungover mean to you?
I would say if you are at risk of chucking up don't go and/or hydrated I would be rehydrating with non alcoholic fluids and waiting waiting a few hours.

If it's a slight hangover then I train. I feel better afterwards having blow out a few cobwebs and don't feel so guilty if I'm crashing in the evening
If you're still potentially drunk then I'd probably skip it
PS I wish I was still young and free enough to have a hangover on a Wednesday2 -
Drink a bunch of water on the way - maybe a gatorade if you have one. Start slowly and see how you feel. Ramp it up if you start to feel better; call it off
if you start to feel worse.2 -
Slightly meaning I had about a 6pk so I'm by no way feeling nauseous but I do feel a lil heavy headed and dehydrated. I stopped drinking about 12am and I just woke up at 6am. I'm hoping after a shower , water and breakfast I'll be ready to hit the gym. But then again I just might be ready for nap lol0

Back when I was younger and partied a lot I liked working out the hangover through a few good sets. That being said I agree with the others here, if you're going to puke save everyone else the misery of that. If your dehydrated, make sure you hydrate first.1

Well the majority rules. Thank you , Everybody for replying just in time ! I will take my *kitten* to the gym and just pace myself. I always thought I had to talk myself from going to the gym because I had a few beers. I will have plenty of water beforehand!!0

Sorry Idk why "kitten" came out , I said the word a s s haha0

The admin bots replace 'bad' words with "kitten." Good luck at the gym!0

Does not apply now as I’m pregnant lol but I would limit my workouts to cardio while hungover. I’d have a Gatorade and Aleeve in the am and go sweat it out!
No heavy barbell work tho...that’s just asking for it IMO .0 -

We would have never done PT the day after payday in the Army if running when hung over was a bad idea.
It might smell like a brewery or distillery, but we did our morning workout, including a several mile run on days we knew soldiers were partying it up the night before because they just got paid.1 -
I always found that I performed surprisingly decently after drinks the night before-extra carbs gave me extra energy. However, make sure you're steady on your feet and not a danger to yourself.1

I try to get in some cardio and sweat some if it out, then hydrate all day.0
