Is it ok to consume soda if it fits inti your macros

One argument I heard is a calorie is a calorie.. Whether it come from organic broccoli or soda… . the other argument I heard that the sugar in soda will immediately converts to fat even if you are below your maintenance calorie intake so better to avoid it… I need your input thanks

    I don't think I would move any calories around just to fit a soda in. I moved to water a few years ago and glad I did. It's cheap, better for me and I have grown accustomed to it. A Hydro-flask is great to eliminate the cost and waste of bottled water. But that's just me. You are free to drink all the soda you like.

    sure if soda fits into your daily calories, then have one - personally i drink coke or sprite zero nearly every day - which are all zero calorie and have had no issues maintaining or losing weight
