One argument I heard is a calorie is a calorie.. Whether it come from organic broccoli or soda… . the other argument I heard that the sugar in soda will immediately converts to fat even if you are below your maintenance calorie intake so better to avoid it… I need your input thanks

If you are in a deficit (below maint calories) there is no net storage of fat, regardless of what form the calories take.11

So long as you're in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Soda is perfectly fine and doesn't magically turn into fat.8

Sugar does not immediately convert into fat. Calorie deficit for the win, full stop.
The only issue with drinking soda is that it is calories that won't fill you up. So if drinking soda and hitting your calorie goal means you are hungry, switch to diet. Otherwise, yes if you can fit it under your calorie goal you are fine!7 -
I don't think I would move any calories around just to fit a soda in. I moved to water a few years ago and glad I did. It's cheap, better for me and I have grown accustomed to it. A Hydro-flask is great to eliminate the cost and waste of bottled water. But that's just me. You are free to drink all the soda you like.0

sure if soda fits into your daily calories, then have one - personally i drink coke or sprite zero nearly every day - which are all zero calorie and have had no issues maintaining or losing weight1
