You are exactly the same weight that I was when I joined MFP, I'm a couple of inches shorter though. It has taken a while to get where I am....but now realize it is not a race. Just make sure you get yourself a food scale. I slipped up quite a few times but tried not to kick myself too much. Good luck to you.

If you have 20lbs or less to lose, it will probably take a while, as you may lose slowly. Don't aim or expect to lose a lot fast, as you may get .5lb a week loss. Weigh and log everything, even condiments like mayonnaise, salad dressings and ketchup, as they can add up in calories without you noticing. There's no need to omit or restrict any foods. Just eat what you like within the daily calorie totals set for you by MFP, and keep plugging away even if the scales indicate your weight has stalled or you've gained.

Weight loss isn't linear, and it isn't a sprint. Take some measurements of your waist, chest, arms, thighs etc so you can check if you lose centimetres or inches, which is a good indicator of fat loss. If the scales say you're not losing, but your measurements show you're shrinking, I'd take more notice of the measurements.
