ACV does nothing for weight loss. As far as personal stories go, my diet has Cheetos Hot Fries three times a week (sometimes more - I really love them) and I've lost a bit over 190lbs. So does mean eating Cheetos causes weight loss? Pretty silly right - but it's the same analogy used for AVC. It's a long term overall calorie deficit that causes sustained weight loss, not a particular food.6 -
For $5 a bottle I would just say give it a try yourself. I find that it takes the edge off my Hunger. If you can find Torani sugar free caramel syrup mix it with water it will taste like drinking a caramel apple. I also use it in salads I like the taste.7

I don't believe the bacteria lives to get to gut as I've found the cheap stuff without bacteria works too.
It's because it soluble fibre from the apples.
I have it in my food and occasionally drink a pint of water with 2tbsp of ACV with a straw.
It's never curves my hunger.
I find all the things that are said to curb hunger tend to not do that for me.
Ummmmm, what fiber?

Just used it to curdle some almond milk for a carrot cornbread. Since I plan to eat that cornbread within my calories, I guess the ACV will help with weight-loss if I like the result and can hold myself to the portion I intend to have...4

I want to try it too but can never make it more than a couple days without forgetting to take it, so I can't say if it works or not. taking it for a couple/few days in a row did cure my nightly heartburn though. I wouldn't count on it for weight loss truly without additional watching your diet and exercise. Something that I think has helped me with weight loss though is drinking a pot of green tea everyday. I wouldn't be afraid to try the apple cider vinegar personally. I have a book by an Amish woman who swears it helps with weight loss. Her recommendation is to take one tablespoon of ACV in a small half glass of water mixed with a tablespoon of honey every day for two weeks for weight loss. It tastes pretty good this way.
Green tea doesn't help with weight loss. A calorie deficit does.

Green tea is said to stimulate your metabolism which aids in weight loss. When I first started drinking a pot of green tea everyday (I was trying to cut down on my coffee intake.) I wasn't eating any less than usual or exercising more and lost about ten pounds over three weeks. (And I put two teaspoons of sugar in every cup.) Of course I probably didn't overeat which most likely helped, but there's more to the human body than CICO. Not saying there isn't something to be said about CICO but metabolism plays a big factor too. Some people can eat a whole gallon of ice cream in one sitting and still not gain an ounce where another will eat 1/2 cup and gain a pound at the same rate of calorie expenditure. Have you tried green tea for weightloss, or apple cider vinegar? And even if you have, everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for another.. Apple cider vinegar is said to stimulate your liver functioning. So in someone with adequate liver functioning already it might not do anything, but for people with sluggish liver functioning it could help immensely. Liver functioning aids in digestion and poor digestion can lead to weight gain.
I wholeheartedly disagree with every single point you made there.
How much more wrong could you be? None.
Well, have you tried green tea or ACV personally and can speak from personal experience? So you disagree that green tea stimulates your metabolism and that vinegar is good for a sluggish liver? Why?
No I have not tried green tea or ACV and I am not speaking from personal experience but I disagree with what you are saying because Science.
In other news i havent tried jumping from a 10 story building but I disagree it would be a good idea because Gravity.
sometimes we dont need personal experience to understand something .9 -

If you like the taste - fine.
Just like any other food item
But the logic in trying it just because it only costs $5 a bottle eludes me.
you could substitute anything in there - tin of beetroot, 2 bananas, punnet of strawberries, can of coke, tin of dog food - all cost less than $5 - why not try them as a weight loss aid???
well, because doing so makes no sense.

I really like Green Tea, well Black Tea as well. Been drinking it for years. Guess what I am Obese, guess the magic did not work on me!
Apple Cider Vinegar. Well the acid will eventually ruin your teeth. I have used it as a hair rinse when I ran out of conditioner it does make your hair wonderfully soft.
But to lose weight um no! Just more quack sites, people wanting you to part with your money.1 -
what The-Movie C said2

Husband had a "bad " stomach for years & I used to have acid reflux regularly till we started ACV, it works great for that1
