Mfp/fitbit net calories question

Just started using a fitbit and I can't understand why net calories are different on fitbit compared to mfp.

When I detract calories out to calories in on fitbit it gives me defecit of around 400, however mfp calculates fitbit adjustment as 600 calories which is 200 more.

Why is this and which to go by?
