My first 5K in over 20 years

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer July of 2017, we took part of the breast cancer awareness 5K run/1 mile walk in Oct 2017. She had chemo 3 days earlier and I was just a massive blob of flesh (she had a good excuse) I barely completed the walk. More than 60 lbs lost, I was determined to give the run a shot for this year's event.
I completed the run without the aid of EMTs! I didn't set any records, just the self satisfaction of being able to finish.
Looking forward to the next run already.
I forgot to mention that my wife was doing the walk, she decided to do an extra lap and RUN part of the way. She is my inspiration.
