Food Scale

I’m thinking about buying a food scale, but I want to know more then just the weight of my food. How do people who have a food scale use this? Do you typically take the food and weight and add it to MyFitnessPal to get the nutritional breakdown, or is there other apps that you use?

Just buy an inexpensive scale that will measure in both grams and ounces. Use MFP or something else for nutritional information.0

Personally, I use mine to mostly weigh meats, or double check amounts on things like almonds where it says approx 28 nuts etc. And yes, Then add them to my diary on MFP. I truly believe it is important, as I've eyballed "8 oz" of ground beef etc, threw it on the scale and watched it be 10+.0
