Any advice

I’m feeling overwhelmed since I don’t buy many vegetables and fruits and my husband snacks on Doritos and drinks fruit punch like water.

just because your husband does something doesn't mean you have to?

what are you feeling overwhelmed about? buy some fruit and veg if you want to eat it?

If you want to not be overwhelmed, break it down.
If you want to eat more vegetables and fruit, buy more vegetables and fruit.
    Eyes on your own plate.

    Definitely this.

When I started, the only change I made initially was to log my foods. I didn't change what I was eating until I saw how many calories were in the things I was eating. It's really eye opening to realize that some of the smaller things we eat are loaded with calories. Gradually, I started changing out what I was eating by making small changes to take the calories down a notch (and keep me out of the red, here on MFP). I didn't worry about what my family was eating. BUT, they saw me making changes and eventually hopped on board, for no other reason (I think) than because I was looking and feeling better and they saw it was because I had changed my diet and fitness routine (I took up running because I felt so great).

Don't worry about what your husband is doing. Worry about you. He will see you making positive changes, and maybe he'll hop on board. If he doesn't, that's okay too, because you'll feel better when you're taking better care of yourself... and you'll be happier about it if you're doing it for YOU.

You've got this. It doesn't have to be hard.
