Hey guys

Hey all, just checking in. I know the challenge is over, but being part of a group with the same goals is actually pretty nice. I haven’t lost or gained any weight. I know that it is because of my birth control method. But that’s ok. All of my vitals show that I am very healthy, and blood work came back good. Diabetes runs in my family, so I tend to watch my sugar, and make sure I can eat ice cream. Lol I go and see the facial oral surgeon this Friday to see what he wants to do about my TMJ dysfunction. It is extremely painful, so all foods I do eat are soft and sensationally boring for a former chef my tastebuds are hating life right now. I did make a fabulous dinner yesterday. We rarely eat beef because we can’t afford it (and right now I can’t chew it) but I found these cross cut beef shanks on sale really cheap. They are a really tough piece of meat so they need to be braised/slow cooked. So I slow cooked them. They melted in our mouths. They are fatty, but in a good way. If there is a good way. All the fat melted off, and made a fabulous gravy.. I’m telling you I was never so happy to be able to eat a piece of beef in my entire life. I hope all of you are sticking with your end of summer diets. I will come up with some wonderful fall and winter food recipes if you want them. They are good for you, and great tasting.
