I don't buy this for a second for ME (may work for others...)
I am currently practicing Intermittent Fasting (16 hours of fasting followed by 8 hour feeding window, daily) and when I actually do get to sleep in - which isn't often - I always wake up famished.0 -
Being hungry after fasting... interesting concept.0

Not so much, actually. On a normal day I am in bed by 11 pm, up at 5 am, workout, then don't have "breakfast" until around 9:30 am. It took about a week to adjust, but there is actually LESS hunger now in that routine than my previous routine of eating as soon as I woke up.
You still get the requisite amount of calories and hit your macro levels, you just do so in a shorter feeding window. Maximizes fat deposit losses, stabilizes blood sugars, and I'm lovin' it!
The example I gave in my first post was only a statement on the effects that getting "more" sleep has on me, which is to induce MORE hunger. My Intermittent Fasting routine does nothing more than establish a baseline.0 -
No everybody is the same, as you say. Good sleep is still important for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that a lot of cell repair takes place then.0
