Eating after working out

I do a light cardio workout in the morning (for now) while I'm still fasting. When should I eat after working out? Does it matter if I eat right after or is waiting another hour and then eating better?

Whenever you want to eat is the best time to eat.7

Breakfast...
It doesn't really matter when you eat after a workout outside of more advanced training protocols.2 -
Eat when you are hungry. Nutrient timing creates such a miniscule difference that it isn't worth considering unless you are an elite athlete.

Whenever you want. I do not at all light fasted cardio three mornings a week. Sometimes I eat right after and sometimes I eat an hour after with that hour factoring in time to shower, get ready, and get to my favorite place for bagels.2
