Hello,
Im a college student and the only place to eat on campus is the dining hall, which is a buffet. I don't have any income so I cant buy myself groceries. How do I combat this? I was loosing weight amazingly over the summer, but now I have hit a wall.

Thanks!

eat a bit less than you are currently eating. if you aren't losing weight it is because you're not in a calorie deficit.

Watch your portion sizes and make smart choices. Choose lots of fruits/veggies and lean protein,

As already stated, it's all about portion sizes. Just because food is there doesn't mean you have to eat it all. Remind yourself that it will be there again tomorrow and you'll have appropriate serving sizes of what you like. Slow down and enjoy each meal.

What are the foods? Eat vegetables mostly; like half your plate should be plain vegetables or with just a tiny amount of cheese or butter. Easy on the bread, gravies, desserts, pasta dishes and mashed potatoes. Stay away from fried food and choose plain chicken or fish entrees.

If you're healthy, get some exercise every day, it will help.

Also a student and I usually go for the salad bar or foods that are good healthy and filling at my school. For me is pretty cheap to get a $5 salad thats filling instead of a pizza. I can usualky get some healthy toppings like chickpeas, olives, a hardboiled egg and greens. Just take a look at whats there and figure out what is filling and healthy for you.

    Hello, I'm a college student
You are a college student, compared to summer, has your intake of fermented hops and barely increased?
Those 12oz curls can add a lot of calories.

Without knowing whats on the menu there its hard to advice other than say portion control. But may I also add that most campuses kitchens will take reasonable requests. If theres something you need, ask for it.
