I am eating canned tuna with a sweet potato. It is surprisingly good.
What strange food combinations do you eat and enjoy?

How are you combining them? I love sweet potato! I used to eat baked potato with tuna and salsa....loved it. You remind me I should do that again.

steamed broccoli and carrots with loads of ketchup and black pepper
cottage cheese with raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing
cottage cheese with a hard-boiled egg smushed into it

I'm also a fan of mixing different cereals together. I am a pro cereal mixologist. Same goes for those flavored oatmeal packets (1 pack apples & cinnamon with 1 pack maple brown sugar is the best)

I think broccoli and carrots with ketchup is super common! I love it. Also with hot sauce, not strange at all!

I like my omelettes with a side of barbecue sauce for dipping.

not that strange, I put no added sugar sauce on my eggs sometimes.

YES!!! My fondest childhood memories was playing "guess cereal" with my dad. He'd mix cereals together, and I'd have to guess what he used while eating with my eyes closed. To this day I can't have just ONE cereal.

Peanut butter sand. With chicken or tomato soup, dipped. I don't think it's strange but my bf says it is! 😂

I don’t find these to be super strange food combinations bc they seem more common, but some people still look at me sideways when I eat them. But:
    - raisin bread grilled cheese
    - Hotdogs and eggs
    - peanut butter on burgers
    - fries dipped in honey

    Strawberries w anything.

And as an aside - I don’t understand the attraction of ketchup. Taking a nice tomato flavor and basically converting to tomato syrup by adding sweeteners? Kills all the splendid tartness!

I’m Canadian so I’m assuming that’s poutine? If so, yum!

Yes, very similar only we don’t tend to have curds. It’s more grated cheese with the hot gravy that melts the cheese. It’s delicious! But of course, very caloric lol.
