Eat right scale doesn't move, eat more the scale goes down

Why is it that when I am very careful to eat right and meet my daily goals the scale stays at the same weight but then after I have my "free day" it goes down a couple pounds?

    Your diary isn't public, so I can't comment on your (personal) calorie goal. However, it could be that your daily goal is too little, but after your "cheat" day you meet your weekly goal.

    You kind of have to find that equilibrium. IMO, I'd just increase my calories all across the board.
