Hi from Canada!

Hi! After a sedentary lifestyle for most of my adult life, I decided things needed to change last February. I am 37 and I have 3 kids (9,6,2) that I had no energy to keep up with. I didn't want my kids to see me as a couch potato anymore. And frankly, I was tired of it myself.

So I started the C25K program and I will be running my first 5k next week. For a 217lbs woman who had never run in her life, it's a big deal! However, I haven't lost any weight because I didn't change my way of eating. Food has always been a big issue for me, and I knew it would be hard.

But last week, something clicked in my head. I'm not sure what happened, but suddenly I *knew* I could -and would- do it! I've now logged in 5 days in a row, and I already feel so much better! It's nice to see I am taking control of my life.

I noticed that 4-5 smaller meals throughout the day is what works best for me. So I'm on the prowl for some great mini meals!

Thanks for reading this :)
