Specifics to Me:
Current weight : 206lbs
Goal weight: 160lbs
Hieght: 5ft 7 in
1st goal: 190lbs
2nd: 175lbs
Heaviest : 245lbs
Lightest on my journey: 179lbs
My name is Kasey, I am 27 years old, an aircraft mechanic, mother of one, engaged with wedding plans for the next year, artist, animal lover, people lover, occasional cynic, constant critic of everyone, myself included, depression survivor(love to encourage others to fight their depression) and child of an alcoholic deceased parent(always open to discuss this, as I've spent nearly a decade keeping all of it in).
Been chubby all of my childhood and now overweight in adulthood. I know I am high risk for an addiction so I stay away from drugs, have recently quit cigarettes this year(unbelievable to me! So proud, last cigarette I smoked was on August 11th this year and I can't think of the last time before that. I guess that means I still smoke but 1 or 2 cigarettes a year is basically quitting right?
) anyway I mention addiction because I think perhaps I am addicted to carbs or sugar. For example, if I have pizza it's nearly impossible to have 1 slice. I could eat a whole large on my own in 10 minutes. So I avoid pizza. Cookies are a similar story. And if I am sleep deprived or stressed, I have no will to control sleep eating. If the cookie was poisoned, I'd be dead in one of those fits.
Haven't had those cravings in the last month or so, but nearly all of my stressor have dissipated.
I am looking for people who have a similar story to mine, and have cracked the code on how to manage our eating challenges. Also open to those of us who are still struggling.
Just looking to discuss why we are the way we are. I believe weight can be caused by emotions, because for me that's how it is. If I'm stressed the scale refuses to move, even if I stay in my calorie limit. I was to discuss how to combat this.
And I want to talk to people about all that I've been through and be there to listen to all that they have experienced.
Okay best wishes to all!
