Do I need to eat back my calories burnt?

Basically I'm over weight, I want to lose weight fast but safely so my calorie intake is set to 1200.
I'm lazy. I hate working out so I don't but my car is broken so I've been walking a lot latley and my phone tracks my steps and counts it as exercise and I'm burning an extra 400 calories a day roughly.
Should I be eating back those calories burnt because my deficit is already so low and I'm making it even lower? Am I going to put my body in starvation mode? Am I setting myself up for disaster?

starvation mode isn't a thing, but under eating (which is unhealthy) is.
eat back your exercise cals, that's how MFP is designed.
walking calories are easy to calculate:
body weight in lbs x 0.3 x distance in miles6
