Though I’d pop on and say hi.
I’ve been using MyFitnessPal to count calories now for about 60 days and have dropped a little under 2 stone.
The catalyst for me was organising to go motor racing with my nephew (who turned 21 recently) and then realising that there was an 18 stone weight limit.
I’m 6’ 2” tall (and in my mid 40s) and my weight had reached 18 stone 12 lbs but given my height you’d never really look at me and say I was overweight.
I travel for work and spend 4 nights a week away from home, with no cooking facilities and I suppose if I were honest eating out is the route of the problem.
I train in Karate but even that didn’t help me get my weight down. I genuinely believe the saying that you “can’t outrun a bad diet”.
Currently sitting at slightly over 17 stone and thoroughly enjoying using MyFitnessPal to track my calories to help inform my eating decisions.
