PCOS Friends

Hey there! So I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. Due to a blood clot a couple years ago, I am unable to take birth control to attempt to correct the issue, so diet and weightloss it is! I have started to eat mostly organic/unprocessed foods and set up a mini challenge for myself over the next year to lose 70+ pounds. I am not taking any medications for the PCOS, but am exploring natural remedies (teas, herbs, different diets, etc).

I am not trying to concieve at the moment but it is something that I would like to pursue in the very near future, so getting my cycles straightened out and back to a healthy weight is my main goal.

I'm just looking for some ladies that I can relate to on here daily and are fun and motivational! Send me a friend request :) I joined the PCOS group on here as well, so if you are a member there feel free to add me too :)

  • Yeah I understand where you are coming from, I have PCOS also, found out about it back in 2009 when I was severely anemic I had to get a blood transfusions from heavy menstrual cycles. I had to get bypass surgery to lose over a 100 lbs because the Drs were worried about my health. I am on here to try to lose the remaining 40-60 lbs to be at what is consider healthy weight for my height and build. If you want go ahead and add me as your friend :)
