There is a restaurant near where I live that will let you write your name on the wall for finishing their big pancake. My son got to write his name on the wall. He was like 5 at the time. :|

I am an easy gainer if I let myself go :)

But for the last month I've stayed at the exact same weight although I'm trying to do a lean bulk.

I tried 2500 calories and didn't put on weight
Then 2600 calories and put on too much weight
Then 2250 and lost too much weight
Then 2350 and stayed the same
Aiming for 2350 again this week to to see what happens

It's taken over a month but I think I've figured out my break even calories is ~2350 so going forward I'm going to try to stick to 2550 calories per day so 200 over break even.

The good news is I've managed to add about 20%+ to all my lifts even though my weight didn't go up. The magic of first month newbie gains. I think I might have even lost fat while adding muscle. Maybe -1.5 pound fat and +1.5 pound muscle in one month but not been taking progress photos so don't really know

Glad I did a cut first (from ~28% BF towards ~14% BF over 3 months). Although I'm one of the smallest guys in my gym (half are on roids for sure) I think I look better than most of them as I reckon I'm at around 14% BF while most of the guys at the gym seem to be running at 25%+ BF so while they are big and strong they are also fat.
