I've been fasting from 7pm til 12 noon the next day...also doing cardio and lifting lighter weights in the morning. I am seeing results...tryin to lean out over here. Anyone have luck with this technique?

even with IF you need a calorie deficit to get lean(lose fat/weight). I got fat doing IF, Ive lost doing IF and Ive maintained. it all comes(came) down to calories.

I am back on intermittent fasting and lower carbs. I must say, I tried with normal carbs and it just didn't work. I need to be eating under 100 carbs per day in order for IF to work for me (and not pig out after my 16 hours). The energy will also come as your body adjusts.

doesnt work that way for everyone. my energy levels increased when I got out of a deficit and became more active.Ive done IF all my life and energy levels never improved over time. even when doing lower carb. Im doing great with maintenance calories right now.

Yeah. Every body is different. What works for one person will not work for others. I was pre-diabetic and so had to go lower carb and just discovered that it worked well for my unique physiology

My reason was bcuz I had developed muscle and had a curvy soft physique but I wanted a leaner stomach.

You just need a calorie deficit and decent lifting program to achieve that.

IF ismt necessary, it doesn't suit everyone.

It doesn't work that way. You are in a calorie deficit regardless of when you eat and don't eat during the week. The week is what matters for losing weight.

I do agree that I've read some articles that show some benefit in other areas of life but it's still CICO.

I’m doing keto and IF, I love it and it works for me and my schedule. Lots of supplements.
