Water Proof MP3 player recommendations

I have been reading a lot of reviews online for a solid water proof MP3 player. I have been on a quest the last few months of making all my gear weather proof. I also added swimming to my weekly regimen and lets face it, swimming laps in a pool is boring without music. Lastly, my headphones I have been using died on me this morning so this has kind of accelerated my schedule a bit.
Anyone on this forum have any recommendations for water proof MP3 players? Looking for some hands on experience. I am skeptical of most online reviews.

I found a waterproof container for electronics at Walmart (in the electronics area) - it's got a 'pigtail' in it that connects to mp3 player inside, and another connection to connect to headphones outside. I haven't tried it out, but it looks like it will probably do the job. Was only $5 so not a huge investment if it doesn't work as expected.0

This is one I have been eyeballing. How does it perform out of water (e.g. biking or running)?0 -
