Sweets Shop Owner and Avid Hiker

I have been on MFP for 5 years but my account got jacked and I'm starting over.
I'm pretty good at losing weight, but horrible at keeping it off. I've lost and regained the same 20-25 pounds for each of the past five years.
This year I opened a sweets shop and spend my days making decadent desserts. Luckily I am pretty good at moderating sweets. Savories and crunchies tend to be my downfall.
For the past 3 months I've been hiking and usually mountain hike 15-20 miles each week. I've cut drinking out except for Saturday nights. And I'm losing weight without tracking for the most part.
I'd really like to completely lose all of my 70 extra pounds this time around. I'm looking for friends from any background or place who can be supportive and are sometimes conversational. ✌️

I know the feeling. It seems easier to lose than to maintain. I love baking and find the more I'm around sweets the fewer I want0

I do have to taste sweets daily. I try to keep it to a very small amount and actually spit at times to prevent added calories. Yuck right!0 -
I'm active, my diary is open, and I try my best to be supportive. If you post more than just your end diary, I try hard to reply. And I could use some more active buddies myself! Add me if you'd like, and same for anyone else looking for a buddy. (PS... I hike 5-8 miles a day, 7 days a week. Usually get in around 40-49 miles per week, but no mountains here, pure wetlands/tropical forests here in FL)0

It's really awesome that you have the time to hike every day. I've been trying to figure out how to do everything I need to in my life plus add a few hours of hiking daily. Maybe one day!0 -
