Hi all😙 I was wondering if anyone knew of any sweeteners that don't have a nasty after taste. I really love my sweets and I'm trying to slowly lower my sugar intake. I know I can't just stop cold turkey but I can slowly but surely learn to take in less one day at a time. My favorite obsession is a caramel frappe 😲 anybody have any low cal recipes?

I think if you're trying them back-to-back with sugar then you're going to notice and probably dislike the taste. I usually take at least a few days before I adapt to a new one. Sucralose was the easiest and I don't think I ever noticed an aftertaste like with others.

I use liquid sucralose. The way you can get used to it is by replacing some amount of sugar, but not all of it, with a drop of sucralose, and increase that gradually until the drink is fully sweetened by a sweetener. I personally dislike stevia because I can't handle the nasty aftertaste, but sucralose is kind of closer to sugar than anything else I tried, although nothing has the exact same taste as sugar.

I don't notice an aftertaste with sucralose. Who doesn't like sugar! LOL I use powdered bulk sucralose. Not splenda, splenda actually contains digestible calories. U se the powder to mix my won 0 cal liquid.
