I'm currently the number 1 ranked candidate for an extremely competitive position in my industry...
Last time this plant was hiring for a lower position, over 1300 people applied and I tested 2pts shy of the score I needed to rank in the top 50.
Now they are hiring for a higher level position and with just a few years of experience I'm ranked #1
It's going to break some hearts where I work now should they lose me.5 -

I've always had pride in putting myself through college and grad school and graduating at the top of my class without any family support, financial or otherwise. We were food-pantry poor and I was the first (and only) in my family to even consider it.

I hold the door open for people all the time.
In fact, it sometimes drives my family crazy. At a busy entrance, I can get stuck there holding the door for a minute or more.
