Should I be logging exercise if I’m sync I ing my Fitbit account?

Ok so I’m syncing my Fitbit account and the calories burned there are still different than here even after a sync

When I logged my elliptical work out though it went way over what fit bit listed as calories burned and I’m now just really confused on what to do should I just not synch them?

I have always logged my food on mfp and my workouts on Fitbit and let them sync. You should definitely not log exercise here if you are getting a calorie adjustment from fitbit.

It can take a few days for everything to start working right and making sense, I found over time the calorie adj worked for me. Honestly, I never really compare how many cals Fitbit is giving me compared to what I see here, so I have no idea whether it matches or not. Keep in mind that your Fitbit calorie adjustment also takes into consideration all your steps for the day, not just your exercise. If you search in the Groups section of the forum there is a Fitbit Group with some pinned posts with common issues and questions, you may find some more guidance in there too.

The adjustment you see on mfp is the difference between what mfp expected you to burn and what Fitbit is telling it you burned so you won't see individual workout calories logged in mfp it all just comes under step adjustment. Log food in mfp and any workouts on fiyny and let it do its thing :)
