UPC vs QR code

Just encountered my first incorrect upload of nutrition info from the UPC label. Reported it and recd a helpful call back from the company. This person reports that the most accurate info is obtained from the Smartlabel, at least for their company. The barcode reader in MyFitnessPal doesn’t read the smartlabel info (there is a free app which I used; that info was indeed correct on this product). I’ve never experienced the UPC error previously so thought I would post this.

When you scan a upc label it doesn’t upload nutritional info, it only pulls up a user creating entry that corresponds to code. The entry’s accuracy is dependent on the person who manually entered it.

Haha. I do! There are several versions of it. I want a couple more. 🏋️‍♀️
