Can just walking for exercise help you lose weight ( yes it did) πŸ˜‚

Hi everyone, back in June 2018, i asked the question,can you lose weight just by walking as an exercise,, well im pleased to say ,yes, i started walking every morning, up to 5 miles a day, with my husband for support, we have a lovely coastal walk, plus, i cut out cake,biscuits,chocolate, crisps etc,cut down on bread and potatoes, and i have lost 2st 4lb,, so just another stone to go to hit my Target. πŸ€—

    That's a great loss, well done. I started walking to work a couple of times a week and find it works for me too.

    Walking is great; it keeps you in better shape than just sitting around. You have lost about a pound a week,so roughly a 500 calorie deficit a day. Your walking accounts for less than half of that. Most of the loss came from the adjustments in your diet. Great job!
