Getting rid of flabby skin while losing weight

Am not a Spring Chicken (mid 60s) and my skin has lost it's elasticity for the ability to firm up as I lose weight. Am in the beginnings of my journey and only lost 10 pounds but can see the future of my body shape/skin as I continue. Am using a stationary bike and when weather permits outside walking for calories as well as 4 pound weights to begin upper body strengthening.
My question is.....is there something that can be done to help the flab to go away as I lose the pounds?
Thanks,
P

Just keep losing. Often the middle is the worst because you have loose skin being pulled down by the remaining fat. True loose skin without the underlying fat is very thin and looks wrinkly/papery, not lumpy and bumpy. Age is of course a factor, but it will take some time to see exactly how much your skin is going to recover.5

^^^ What she said, with the added comment that I'm a sixty-something person saying it, and one who personally experienced that effect.
Also, though you may find you look better at goal weight than midway there (because at goal more of the skin is no longer conspiring with gravity and squishy subcutaneous fat to stay stretched), it's likely that you'll find you look still better in another year or two after reaching goal weight. My true loose skin - the thin wrinkles - kept shrinking well into my 2nd year of maintaining a healthy weight.6
