Losing the baby weight

Hi! My name is Jordana. I have a 6 week old son. I am starting my weight loss journey and hoping to lose more then pre pregnancy weight. I am currently 278. I weighed 307 when I had been weighed before I had my son. My pre pregnancy weight was 254. My realistic goal weight is to be about 220. My overall goal is to be active for my son once he starts walking. I want to chase him without being out of breath. Hoping to hear different stories of weight loss after baby and get some motivation for how to keep the weight coming off with a newborn.

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These are two of the most commonly-referenced threads on MFP; tons of people point to them as being sources of great info when you're just starting out.
