There isn't enough information here to know if this plan will help you meet your goals. The number of calories you decide to eat is going to be key here.

If your overall goal is weight loss, you'll want to be eating at a deficit.

Male/female? Height? Current weight? How intense is the workout you plan and for how long per session?

So is that a deficit for you? We don't know your statistics or activity level, although 1,500-1,700 would be a deficit for many people. You can use the tools on this website to determine how many calories you should eat.

If you're going to lift 2x per week, you should do a full body program...doing an upper/lower split 2x per week is more or less a waste of time.

I train each muscle group twice per week

You wouldn't build muscle mass in a deficit but you will retain the muscle you already have.
