Half a foot of tummy

Today I measured my waist and have lost 6 inches. I thought that was a cool way of looking at it; half a foot of tummy - gone!

    Dang- that REALLY puts it in perspective! When you say six inches it seems almost "meh"- but when you say, "I just lost half a foot." It turns into "Holy crudnuggets!" Either way, congrats- something to be totally proud of- either way you say it. :)

    I like that way of thinking! I used to do Weight Watchers and the leader would always show us an object representing a pound of fat when folks would get discouraged that they ONLY lost one pound.....

    Six inches is a HUGE success!
