What would you tell your future-self if she had to re-start her weight loss journey?

I know that life happens and even the best and most consistent of healthy habits can be challenged and halted when stress and hardship hit us hard. Let’s say something happens in the future that makes it necessary for you to completely restart your weight loss journey. What would you tell yourself to help get those healthy habits back? How would you convince your future self to get back to habitually mindful eating and exercising?

Dear Future Evelyn,
Well, *kitten*. All that hard work, and now... ...That's gotta hurt.
It was great for while there, though, when you were at goal. Remember how that was? All that energy, and feeling so much better (not to mentioned how good you looked, girlfriend! ).
And then, after a few years, over a few years - well, you know what happened even better than I do.
But you can have that goal feeling back again, and you know how to get it. Just the very simple, and very difficult, practice of eating less caloric energy than you expend. And, since I know you won't do any stupid fad-diet type stuff, it can't hurt you to try.
I probably need to remind you that being at goal did not make you a smart, funny, kind, wonderful person. You already were that, and you still are. People could just see all that better when it wasn't distorted by the lens of obesity.
Do what you want to do. By which I mean figure out what you want to do; and then, by god, do it.
Love,
Present-Day Evelyn
(PS. Sorry about the financial situation. And the dental situation. And the load-bearing exercise thing.)

I would tell myself that in 6months time I’d wish I’d started back today!
But I’d also remind myself (and do frequently - every time I fall off the wagon) that I feel so much better when I eat well and exercise! Even if I don’t lose weight I feel so damn good and also it’s still good for my heart and body to do exercise1
