Hi, my name is Adrian. Was directed to this site by the nurse at my local weight clinic after I found myself struggling to count calories and fat content. Since I started dieting I have lost 30lbs, but idealy need lose another 40~45lbs. Reason for losing the weight? I am age 55 and want to improve my health as I get older. ALSO my wife has lost 140lbs after a gastric bypass, but is struggling with her last bit to get to her goal. We motivate each other. Got a treadmill and a turbo trainer at home, so can use the bikes indoors. Thinking about getting some dumbells. Wife cannot use the bike outside, she had an op several years ago on her ears which affects her balance. We are thinking about getting a tandem. I go out regularly on my own doing about 25=30 miles per ride. Living in South Devon gives easy access to Dartmoor, particularly the cycle tracks. Have set a target of doing the London to Brighton bike ride in June 2019, about 70 miles. Would love to hear from anyone else planning this.

One of my big problems is my job. Driving coaches, I am sat down most of the working day. Also working shifts affects the sleep and eating pattern.
