Michael Mosley diet !

The first thing I’d recommend is checking his calorie counts! I used a chilli recipe from his book (my parents were doing his diet) and when I entered the raw ingredients I got a rather higher calorie count than the one he’d listed...0

Correct me if I have got this wrong but are you saying that you are only going to eat 800 calories a day?
Unless you are doing this for medical reasons and under the supervision of your doctor this is not a healthy way to lose weight. 1200 calories a day is the rccomended minimum for most women. This kind of VLC diet will not get much support here as it is considered so unhealthy.

This^^^^^ . On MFP you can't go below 1200 calories a day. You'll be missing nutrients and risk serious damage such as hair loss, muscle loss, etc.. ONLY if closely supervised by your doctor, because they assume the risk. Sometime people talk about what happened to them on a VLC diet--it's not pretty and can have life long consequences. Please don't do it.1 -
Did some research. Yup, this is an 800 calories a day, 7 days a week diet done for at least 8 weeks.
OP, please take a pass. This is neither healthy nor sustainable. If you do manage to last the 8 weeks, I guarantee a huge binge cycle and subsequent weight regain once you stop.4 -
Mosely - the king of fad diets right now. No thanks.
OP - this thread will likely be shut down because we are not allowed to promote unsafe, unhealthy diets.2 -
