Any other teachers out there that get in shape every summer just to have the stress and demands of the school year ruin it? I'm trying not to let that happen this year. Feel free to add me to your friend list if you're in the same boat.

    Hi! You should just like me. Weight goes up every fall and then I get it down in the summer. I’m back up now. Joined a gym this weekend and have dh support to go 2x a week (he’ll have to meet the bus for kids). I get 12000 steps a day in the classroom but somehow that’s not enough. Add in “change of life” hormones and I gain weight when I just think about food. I’ll send you a friend request.

    Yes the change makes it worse for me too! The hardest part of the day is between getting home and dinner. All I want to do is snack while I grade.

    Yes, the stress is a challenge. I’ve been prioritizing my workouts this school year and wow is it helping me! I am two weeks or more behind on scoring and feedback. Oh well! Feel free to add me.
