Logging walking manually with a pedometer?

So I have Accupedo connected to the MFP app on my phone, and that automatically adds my steps to the day. Below a certain number of steps no calories are added for steps I take, but past that exercise calories are added.
For instance I took under 4000 steps yesterday and the exercise calories for that were 0, but did over 5000 so far today and have 23 exercise calories from that.
Should I be logging the walking I do manually, too, or is that included the pedometer calculations as part of my TDEE?

Let the connected pedometer handle it. MFP includes some steps in your calories already and adds extra calories for steps that exceed the baseline.1

I log everything manually0

@seska422 Thanks for the response! I'll leave it up to the pedometer then.
@huntersvonnegut I prefer logging everything manually too, but the pedometer's been giving me some insight into whether or not I meeting the activity level MFP estimates I am.1 -

A certain number of steps are already accounted for in your activity level...you're getting additional calories for activity that goes beyond your activity level. If you log it manually, you will be double counting.3 -
As above.
MFP's sedentary is about 3500 steps. That covers basic daily movements; shopping, cleaning, picking the children up from school, house work, and low activity employment like an office job.
Any steps over the 3500 you should get credited for.
Cheers, h.
