Just one bite!

I went to a fancy dinner the other day for work. Fancy meals are sometimes not so great in terms of taste and amount of food. Though they try to be over the top in terms of presentation. This was the case at this event except for desert.

For desert they served this weird looking citrus halo thing. It was like an alien donut covered in orange jello, at least that’s how it looked. I took one very small bite and it was indeed amazing.
I really did only eat the one bite. My colleague next to me said really? He ate his and then I gave him mine. And yes he ate it!

My point is for me one small bite is enough, especially if it is really, really good. As a matter of fact, the second, third and fourth bites never compare to the first so why not just stop there?

Think of your favorite food or a new delicious discovery. Can you take just one bite or…?

I don't go for fancy meals very often. I would have eaten the whole thing.

I don't take that bite. I would just pass it to someone else. I'm not much of a dessert eater.

I eat a reasonable portion... smaller than I used to but more than one bite. I tend to eat slow and try to savor my food. I thnk I enjoy the last bite as much as the first.

    No

If it's a favourite food, one bite is like an insult...I'd rather (and it would be easier) to have none...I can't eat just one potato chip, even if I don't like the flavour

If it'a a 'new discovery' food, I'd want more than one bite just to "make sure" it's as delicious as I first thought

My goal is always one serving. But I hardly ever indulge in dessert. This might be a good idea to try.
