Hey everyone! My name is Ashley. I have always struggled with my weight. I have yo-yoed between 250-175 for my adult life. While feeling better has always been a goal it wasn’t priority. My dad, who is SUPER healthy, just got diagnosed with heart disease. Now it runs on both sides of my family. I am currently trying to get myself in the best possible shape to deal with this possibility as I grow older because I am UNHEALTHY. Looking for ways to be held accountable.

Sorry to hear about your father. My take on been healthy,is everything in moderation. An app like mfp allows the flexibility to eat better.. Calorie intake is a crucial factor in becoming healthier we are what we eat. been active, do some form of activity like walking for 30mins every day.. Make time1

My best advice would be to start small and keep getting better. So many people try to do everything all at once and can't stick to it long term. Start logging, be patient, and read the Most Helpful Posts threads pinned to the top of each board. Welcome and good luck!1
