Tall Girls Maintenance calories

I'm almost 6'2" and wondering what other tall girls are doing for their maintenance calories?

I'm not that tall, but even two different women the same height are going to have slightly differing maintenance calories depending on their activity, their exercise, their weight, and their lean mass.
I established my calories by diligent food and exercise tracking over time.
I ended up at about 300 calories more per day than most calculators suggest. I had to track data for a while to figure that out. Months.5 -
I’m 5’8” which normally feels tall compared to a lot of other girls I am around. I believe most sources just start considering girls “tall” at my height. If it helps I aim for about 2100 cals for maintenance. I am between 135-137 most days. I am fairly active running 3 miles a few days a week and 1 or 2 light 30 min strength training days a week.3

Yay! Tall girls unite! ♥ I am 5'11/ 164lbs and currently i'm doing 1,700 calories a day to try and lose about 10lbs. I think my calories may be a bit too high though as I feel like I could probably do 1400 and be sufficient each day. My goal is to lose 1lb a week and then maintain, build strength.5

Yay for tall girls! I'm 5'11 maintaining around 165 pounds and I eat around 2500 calories a day.
Typically though I eat a little less during the week and more over the weekend.4 -
I'm 5'10" and 155lbs and I usually burn from 2200-2600 calories per day. Being tall has its perks2

I’m 5’11” weighing 167 lbs and have maintained for 5 years on 1700-1800 calories. A lot of calorie calculators say I should eat more calories but if I do I gain (I know this from years of trial and error) it could be because I’m hypothyroid that my calorie needs are slightly under average. I also eat back all of my calories burned through exercise, I’m a runner so it’s fairly easy to get an accurate burn amount. I believe that it takes a lot of trial and error and patience to hone in on your maintenance calorie amount. Good luck!1

I’m half an inch shorter than you, so not sure if I qualify as tall in this thread. Lol. But my maintenance calories are around 1,900.

When I was in maintenance:
6ft. Maintenance calories, 2200-2500. Started at 2000, then added 100 calories per week to ensure I wasn't losing. Leveled off @2200.2 -
I think it takes a lot of trial and Error. Im 5 10 and losing at 2400 calories. When I get to goal calculators suggest 25-2600 would be maintenance for me1

Tall girl put their stars into MFP, set to Maintenance, weigh & log their food, and eat back a portion of their exercise cals.
The other approach tall girls can take us to adjust their cals based on their last month of weight loss. For example if they were losing 0.5 per week and eating 1700, they can add 250 to get 1950 for maintenance.3 -
Thanks ladies! I feel like I've been over-doing it on the weekends and I need to log more strictly because 2,000 calories a day is plenty to maintain. I eat a lot lighter during the week so, I need to tighten it up on the weekends!1

I'm 5'10" and 155 but I am almost 60 and maintain at 1230 net. I obviously get another 100 or so from moving, but still.1

It’s more about the weight you want to maintain than it is your height. Higher weight = more calories. Taller means you will weigh more and be at a normal BMI. I haven’t figured out my maintenance calories for sure but I think I can maintain around 2100 for 158 lbs at 5’8”. I exercise moderately most everyday for about 1 to 1.5 hours. Some days I eat less and some days more.0

Depending, I cycle my daily caloric allotments between 1,366 or less to 1,821, sometimes 2,400. Aiming to lose another 20 lbs, then I'll reassess.0 -
I'm 5'9" and usually 150 +/- 5...my maintenance calories are around 1900/day0
