Looking for hot and healthy lunchbox ideas for winter 😁

I work outside doing physical work and although I find it easy to eat healthy lunches over summer, when winter hits, all I want is hot and filling food! Any ideas, especially that can be prepped in advance?

Do you have access to a microwave? If not invest in a good thermal flask/box.
Soup, proper thick ones with beans/lentils/ pearl barley etc. Stew, chilli, curry, baked potatoes, shepherds pie. If you make them with lots of veg it keeps the calorie count down.
I like seeded or rye breads, or oatcakes to have with it.
Hungry now, will have to make stew tomorrow!3 -
How long does the food need to stay hot for? Will you be able to heat food where you eat?
Invest in a thermos and insulated lunch container.
Soup is pretty obvious. A lentil or bean soup with veggies is pretty filling.0 -
Beef chili, with or without beans. White chicken chili. Broccoli cheese soup. Potato soup. Beef stew. Chicken stew. Basically any sort of soup, stew or anything vaguely resembling those that can go into a container like this:
Throw in a roll, bread, crackers etc... something to go with the hot liquid and you're good to go.
