Fit 50 or unfit 50, I get to choose

Hi
I’m a newly turned 50 and want this next decade to be my time to focus on me.
I’m at a brand new stage in my life where I’m transitioning to a new way of working (self employed) my children are grown and there are no grandchildren yet.
I want this time to be for me and my health first and foremost.
I have gained 7kilos but am 11 over my goal weight.
I have always been hovering around the 70kg mark which is great but I have always wanted to see how I looked if I tried another 5.
I hate setting goals because I have a self sabotaging mindset that always let’s me down. I have had food issues all my life and am trying to ease up on myself, that does not include gaining weight 😂
My focus will be on not skipping meals (because I’m too busy to eat😊)
Cutting back dinner portions, when hubby cooks I can always but half away for my lunch (and do)
but they always say nothing changes if nothing changes. I need to work out what I have to change, the exercise is easy DO MORE 😂
I don’t or very rarely eat any cheese, dressings, a lot of bread, alcohol, chocolate, potato crisps, dips or ice cream.
My main diet consists of oats, fruit, vegetables, occasionally chicken, fish. I’m planning on heading down plant based eating, with a tiny bit of eggs and white meat.
Are there any Australian weight twins here 😀
Current weight 77.6kg 😊
Usual weight 70kg
Goal weight 65kg
Thanks for reading.
Now to be brave and press post button.
