Hi all,
I’ve used my fitness pal several times, however didn’t really follow through. Always got busy and didn’t make it apart of my routine. A recent health scare has kind of kicked me in the *kitten* about it, though. So I’m back, trying to lose a total of 100lbs, down 3 so far.
A little about myself:
I’m 27 and I work full time as a medical biller (so sedentary, ugh). I’ve been overweight for over 10 years, as a result of severe emotional trauma. I have said every single year for the last 10 years that I’ve wanted to lose weight, I’ve wanted to be thin, etc. but now l am really facing down some consequences to my inaction, I’m truly afraid. I really don’t care if I ever get thin, what I care about is feeling good and being happy.
I weigh 235lbs, I’m 5’2”. I enjoy swimming immensely, would love to become a better runner/jogger. I don’t have any children, but hope to in the future.
I’m trying to eat low-carb, low fat, and low sodium. I’ve pretty much cut out all bread, added in a lot more veggies (which I could eat all day long) and following recipes from FitGirlsGuide.

Anyone with any recipes for low sodium for high blood pressure would be greatly appreciated! And obviously, the more friends to connect with, the better as well :)
